CI HotZone BioLift – High Temperature Wastewater Treatment

Biological Wastewater Support for High-Temperature Lagoons

CI HotZone BioLift is a high temperature wastewater treatment designed to support biological activity and reduce contaminants in lagoons operating at 78°F (25.5°C) and above. Its formulation includes biostimulants, biocatalysts, and facultative bacteria capable of maintaining metabolic function in low-oxygen, high-temperature environments. This treatment aids in the consistent reduction of BOD, ammonia, TSS, and sludge, improving overall lagoon performance during warmer operational periods. Ideal for seasonal peaks or thermally influenced systems, CI HotZone BioLift is applied in convenient water-soluble packs for efficient shoreline dosing.

Technical Data

CI HotZone BioLift Treatment is a specialized high temperature wastewater treatment formulated for use in lagoons and systems operating in elevated thermal conditions. It contains a targeted blend of vitamins, biostimulants, biocatalysts, and facultative bacterial strains selected for their ability to perform effectively in water temperatures of 78°F (25.5°C) and higher.

These organisms maintain high metabolic activity under warm conditions and continue functioning in low dissolved oxygen environments, where many other microbial systems decline. This makes CI HotZone BioLift suitable for high-load, high-temperature systems that experience seasonal or process-driven temperature spikes.

When applied regularly, CI HotZone BioLift supports indigenous and introduced bacteria in reducing biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), ammonia, total suspended solids (TSS), and sludge accumulations. The treatment is delivered in water-soluble bags that can be applied directly from the lagoon shoreline, allowing for accurate and convenient dosing without specialized equipment.

Each pail contains twenty 1-lb bags. For ongoing biological support, CI HotZone BioLift can be paired with CI OxyBoost to increase dissolved oxygen and improve water clarity. Together, they offer an adaptable solution for maintaining aerobic activity and reducing operational issues in high-temperature wastewater systems.

Recommended dose of CI HotZone BioLift is based on application needs. In most cases, pairing with CI OxyBoost at 20–50 lb per acre provides enhanced results in lagoon performance and clarity.
