Peracetic Acid

CI PAA is a fast-acting oxidizing disinfectant composed of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and acetic acid. The product provides rapid microbial inactivation with minimal sensitivity to temperature and organic loading. CI PAA decomposes into water, oxygen, and acetic acid and does not form chlorinated disinfection byproducts or persistent residuals. It is primarily used for wastewater effluent disinfection where chlorine residuals and dechlorination are undesirable.
