Safety Data SheetsCurrent sheets for the products we supply across BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan

Find a product, open its sheet, and print or save a copy for the binder at your site. Sheets are supplied in the format issued by the formulator.

Finding a sheet

Three ways to get to the right document

Every sheet in the library is a PDF, filed under the product name that appears on the label.

Search the product name

Type any part of the name or code into the search box — Avenger, H-6040, Chemox. The list narrows as you type.

Open or download

Open a sheet to read it in the browser, or download it to keep with your site binder and hazard training records.

Nothing matching

Discontinued products and sheets issued by a formulator under their own name may be filed differently. Call 1-800-665-7287 or email info@chemintonline.com and we will send the current sheet.

Reading a sheet

The same sixteen sections, in the same order

WHMIS 2015 brought Canada in line with the Globally Harmonized System, so information sits in the same place on every sheet, whatever the product or the supplier.

On site

Keeping the paperwork sound

Keep sheets where the work happens

Employers must make a safety data sheet available to workers who may be exposed to a hazardous product. A binder in the janitor room and a bookmark to this page usually covers both the inspection and the shift.

Label anything you decant

Product transferred out of the supplier container needs a workplace label with the product name, safe-handling precautions and a reference to the sheet. Ask us for labels for the dilutions you run.

Check the revision date

Suppliers update a sheet when significant new hazard information becomes available. If the date in Section 16 is older than the copy here, replace the one in your binder.

Read sections 7 and 8 before changing a procedure

Storage compatibility, ventilation and PPE are product-specific. A change in dilution, temperature or application method can change what the sheet requires.

Where Chem International distributes a product formulated by another manufacturer, the sheet is provided exactly as that manufacturer issued it, including registration numbers and required label language. Sheets are reference documents for the product as supplied; they do not replace site-specific hazard assessment or worker training.
